Bristow Holland have an excellent opportunity to join an exciting software business based in Chelmsford who are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing internal IT operations team taking a lead on a variety of projects and supporting the business with any 3rd line related issues.
In this position you will work remotely from home 50% of the time working on all escalations relating to the IT infrastructure and networks. You will also help deliver IT Infrastructure, Network and server projects to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting the 1st/2nd line support team with ticket escalations.
* Support and maintain core infrastructure.
* Assist with ongoing management and maintenance of customer deployments.
* Successfully deliver Infrastructure projects.
* Documenting processes and procedures followed by the team.
* Being part of the incident management process.
Key Experience:
* Advanced working knowledge of Linux based systems
* Basic networking knowledge including VLAN's, firewalls and VPN's
* Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
* Virtualization experience
* Knowledge of support desk systems and structure
* Willingness to learn new systems, and have a "can-do" attitude
* ITIL experience
