Duration: Permanent
Hours: 9am until 5:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Salary: GBP38,000 to GBP45,000

Polytec are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for our Cambridge based client. You will form part of a new team to establish the manufacturing capability for a new product launch taking prototype through to initial low-volume manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
* Defining and implementing manufacturing processes for assembly
* Designing tooling and equipment for efficient assembly processes
* Designing and implementing test development
* Planning workflow, space requirements and equipment placement, maximising manufacturing efficiency
Requirements:
* Proven experience working in a multidisciplinary manufacturing environment
* Good understanding of the requirements for manufacturing complex electro-mechanical products
* Experience with a variety of MRP/ERP systems in the manufacturing environment
* Experience working under an ISO9001 quality system would be beneficial
