Residential Support Worker
Location: Herne Bay
Salary: GBP23,000 - GBP25,000 per annum
*Plus paid sleep-in rate* (reaching an earning potential of up to GBP30,000 per annum)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Now more than ever it is crucial that vulnerable children receive dedicated, high-quality care & support. I am working with an established provider of Residential Childcare, who provide outstanding care to children & young people with challenging behaviour. Specialising in working with those who have suffered Trauma & Abuse from a young age, this provider prides itself on having created a warm and homely environment for those they support.
As a Residential Support Worker, you can make a real difference to the lives of these children & young people. If you are an excellent communicator and want to develop a career that can truly make a difference, then this could be the perfect role for you.

Requirements & Skills
* To be caring, dedicated and compassionate
* To have excellent monitoring and reporting skills
* To contribute, as part of a team, to making the home a safe and caring environment and to promote the welfare and safety of the young people at all times
* To have knowledge of EBD and other complex needs/challenging behaviours
Minimum Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
* Previous experience working in a Children & Young Persons setting
* Hold of full UK driving license
