Branch Assistant - Chelmsford
We are currently looking to recruit a Branch Assistant for our reputable client based in Chelmsford. This is a very varied role that covers areas of Administration, Customer Service and some Picker/Packer duties.
The main duties of the role include:
General administration duties, such as replying to emails, answering the phones, processing orders and updating databases.
To keep up to date with all company sales initiatives and promotions in order to effectively pass this information onto the customer.
Process/pick order requests for all stock items for a customer collection and /or delivery from the warehouse.
Serve the customers at the trade counter in line with company requirements and compliance with COVID 19 restrictions currently in place.
Raise quotations for the customer at the most competitive price from preferred suppliers, and provide the necessary follow up call to complete the order.
Effectively source and order non-stocked items from other branches
To professionally liaise with customers and suppliers by both telephone and by email.Skills Required
* Excellent organisation skills
* Excellent Communication skills, both verbal & written
* Strong IT fluency
* To be self-motivated.
* Ability to work in a team.
Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:30pm + on call hours (Paid)
Location: Chelmsford
Salary: GBP20,000 to GBP22,000
Type: Temp to Perm opportunity
