First Step Trust (FST) is a charity that provides work experience, qualifications and employment opportunities for people excluded from working life because of mental health problems or other disadvantages.
Based in the medium secure NHS hospital of Rowan View, Maghull, FST operates the on-site caf?? 5 days a week where it caters for both the staff and patients.
We are looking for a motivated individual to support the Caf?? Manager in the day the day running of all aspects of the caf??.
Whilst running the caf?? FST also trains it's volunteer workforce in catering and supports them to build the skills and confidence that they will need to be able to find salaried employment when they move on from Rowan View in the future.
The successful candidate should have -
Practical experience in a catering setting
Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds skills and experience
Good attention to detail
Good personal skills and ability to support others
A Lv2 Food Hygiene qualification
A full UK driving license held for minimum of 1 year
This role would suit someone with some experience of working within the catering industry who is looking to develop their skills in a rewarding yet challenging role. If you are interested in this role please apply today.
