A newly created role based in Folkestone for a Stock Control & Transport Co-ordinator where the job holder will be responsible for supporting the implementation of a new Warehouse in Holland and the accurate transfer of stock from Folkestone to Holland plus covering the full range of duties, including inventory control and SAP management.
Position Highlights:
Fixed term 6 month contract with an immediate start available
Monday to Thursday 9am - 5pm with an early finish on Fridays.

The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience of a similar role, ie. helping to set up a new warehouse, as well as:
Experience of stock control from material suppliers through to end users and working with 3rd parties
Digitally competent including the use of Excel and ideally SAP as well.
Great communication skills at all levels
Ideally having knowledge and experience working in a global logistics environment, so having an understanding of all the work constraints.
Being commercially savvy, understanding the importance of hitting the numbers and of stock data being accurate
Strong organisational skills and the ability to bring things together
Responsibilities include:
Working solely at the Folkestone based site, you will control accurate stock movements to new storage plant in Holland.
You will liaise with their appointed transport provider on collections from Folkestone to Holland, ensuring prompt rotation of trailers between sites.
Liaison with Dutch site team to ensure stock is booked on promptly and any discrepancies investigated and resolved
Generation of documents required for shipping compliance including shipping compliance etc.
Communication both within both the logistics and fulfilment team and with colleagues in other functions across the organization
Escalation of issues as required to team leader
Support the set-up of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) with the Dutch site and test transactions prior to going live.
