YARD WORKER - CIRCA 11PH - BRAINTREE
An established engineering company in Braintree are looking for a skilled yard worker to join their team with a starting salary of circa GBP11ph!
The successful candidate will have some engineering skills or background, and will be able to read from technical drawings. You may have come from a warehouse or engineering background, or are looking for that next step into engineering.
Salary for the successful candidate will be circa GBP11ph but will be based on previous experience. Hours are 07:30-16:00 Monday to Friday, with overtime paid at higher rates.
Yard Duties include:
Preparing orders for dispatch either fully built of flat packed
Using hand and power tools to assemble steel structures
Working at a fast pace around the yard
Moving steel around the yard
General pair of hands, helping out where needed
A forklift license is desirable but not essential to the position. You must however have some technical skills or background and be able to read from technical drawings. This is a permanent job subject to a successful probation period.
