Production Engineering Manager

I am now working exclusively with a Medium sized, manufacturing business based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire who due to expansion are now looking to recruit a new Production Engineering Manager. This is a brand new vacancy, which is being created by the business due to high investment and positive improvements.

Located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire my client design, manufacture and supply a range of medium to heavy engineered products to a host of UK clients. Over the past 3 years they have started to expand the business to meet ongoing and growing customer demand. Due to this expansion, they are now looking to recruit a Highly Motivated, Engineering Qualified, Production Manager to join the business.

Description

As the Production Engineering Manager for this small Manufacturing and Production Company, you will report directly into the Operations Manager with overall control and responsibly for the small but growing manufacturing area. You will ideally come from a Production or Manufacturing Engineering background with an understanding of CNC or Similar Machinery. The main day to day tasks and challenges include:

• You will look at increasing the current production output.
• You will aim to reduce current waste of the business.
• You will manage the implementation of new machinery.
• You will drive Continuous Improvement activities across the site.
• You will look at building a small team of engineers.

Profile
