TJX Europe is looking for a Logistics Data Scientist to join our Supply Chain Analytics team. This role will support the function and help deliver Logistics and Distribution goals. Reporting into the Logistics Manager - Supply Chain Analytics you will be responsible for providing insights, trend analysis and forecasting using a variety of structured and unstructured data sources to support the Supply Chain with daily operations and longer-term strategic work. This is a collaborative role that will work with both internal and external business partners to help support TJX Europe's business intelligence needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with the Analytics Manager and Analytics Business Partner to execute the TJX Europe Supply Chain information needs and support decision-making
Provide data analysis supporting business partners to identify cost and operational efficiencies, suggesting short and long-term solutions
Provide forecasts and insights that support the operation in anticipating and proactively addressing upcoming challenges
Using technical skillset to generate data sets as required from multiple data sources
Ensure data analysis as needed is supplied accurately and within agreed timelines
Feed into both the planning and execution of the 'pipeline' of development of new business intelligence solutions
Draw on standards from across the industry to support the continuous improvement of TJX Europe's Data Analytics approach
Build the required data sets for data visualizations and dashboards and develop the front-end visualizations where required

Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Strong experience of working Microsoft Access
Proven skillset in SQL required, experience with Python, Visual Basic preferred
Strong understanding and preferably experience of Supply Chain
Track record of interpreting data to provide clear, meaningful, and practical insights to business partners
Good working knowledge of Power BI and other BI applications
Experience of working in a project environment, able to work self-sufficiently to meet deadlines
