THE ROLE:

Work closely with the Events Manager to achieve fundraising targets
Manage a full range of fundraising activities at branch and national level to ensure the department achieves its target income.
Establish relationships with all principle supporters and key stakeholders.
Maintain regular contact with local fundraising Branches and their Chairman.
Ensure all marketing material is delivered to the branches to ensure consistency and brand awareness within the industry.
Suggesting creative ideas to help achieve objectives of the event and fundraising activities.
Liaising with Events Manager to create/amend mailing lists
Attending national events to 'meet and greet' guests and hosts
Keep Supporters up to date on forthcoming events, follow ups and feedback
Support the Business Development Managers and Branches with day to day fundraising activities
Producing materials for events, e.g. invitations, gift bags, place cards etc.
Using and maintaining the contact management system, to manage events and log all event/branch related information
Raise invoices using Xero to ensure all paying guests are invoiced on time and all income is accounted for prior to event start date ESSENTIALS:

A minimum of 2 years' experience in Events Planning
Excellent planning, organisational, and management skills
Ability to plan own work and coordinate the work of others
Capacity to deliver tasks on time and to meet goals, including highly pressured environments
Capacity to gather comprehensive information on complex problems or situations; evaluates information accurately and identifies key issues required to resolve problems
