We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Progression Advisor to join our team to assist the Head of Sales in ensuring new home sales are delivered to meet targets and that high standards of customer service are delivered through the sales process.
The Role
· Drive exchanges and completions in line with Eastlight KPI's and Business targets.
· Be responsible for the progression of the sales from signed off reservation to 28-day exchange and legal completion.
· Ensure application details are obtained from the local Help to Buy Agent and ensure that potential sales customers are fully informed of all stages of the process.
· Assimilate accurate information to assist with the preparation of legal documents
· Maintain regular phone and email contact with customers to maintain high levels of communication throughout their journey.
· Provide detailed information to customers at handover to ensure they are aware of their rights and responsibilities.
About You
You will have
· Experience of working in new homes sales for a housing association, local authority or private developer.
· Knowledge of the property market, market trends and good awareness of the issues facing customers unable to afford to meet their housing needs in the open market.
· Experience in a busy sales environment and of ensuring sales progress smoothly and to target.
· Experience of delivering excellent customer service.
· Experience using MS Office and industry specific software tools (e.g. Home Match)
· Knowledge and experience of home ownership schemes including Shared Ownership, Help to Buy, Equity Loans and Rent to Buy schemes.
· Thorough understanding of mortgages and how mortgage assessment is carried out by lenders.
· Good knowledge of legislation, financial and legal process and requirements in relation to new home sales.
· Strong communication skills, Self-motivation with ability to work independently and as part of a team
