Process Operative Opportunities (Warehouse, Manufacturing, FLT)

Weidmann Whiteley is a global leader in electrical insulation for transformer manufacturers and users. Our core competence is in the development and production of customised cellulose-based insulation systems for power and distribution transformers, we also offer our expertise and products for high-temperature applications like locomotive and wind turbine transformers.

Outside of the electrical industry, our paper manufacturing competence has been widely used to develop innovative solutions for different industries, ranging from packaging to textile and paper converting.

We are looking for several Process Operatives to join our team working 2, 3 or 4-shift on12- hour patterns incorporating days, nights, and some weekends.

The basic salary offered before overtime is between £24,037 and £29,732 dependant on position and training.

Making safety in the workplace primary, you will be operating machinery that delivers value to the business through flexible working. Adhering to strict tolerances you will produce a variety of finished products to meet customer specifications.

We require individuals that work well in teams but on occasion can work alone, who also understand the principals of lean manufacturing.

It would be advantageous, although not essential, if you have previous paper Manufacturing and or paper Converting experience. Continual operation experience in other Manufacturing industries, Forklift Truck experience, or existing licence and Pendant Crane operational experience would also be advantageous, but again not essential..
