Plus Benefits

Full Time – 39.5 hours per week working Monday to Friday. Shifts between the hours of 06:00 – 23:00
Service / Product: leading manufacturer and eCom retailer of own brand active nutrition and health supplements

The Manufacturing Training Coordinator Opportunity:

You will be responsible for ensuring that all staff members are signed off and competent in their respective working areas, working alongside the Manufacturing Team Leader to update and create Standard Operating Procedures to improve the overall standard in the production facility.

This is an exciting opportunity for a person who is engaging and ambitious to drive change. You’ll gain knowledge in the flow of a production environment and will learn skills in working within a team and working together to achieve one singular goal.

To maintain training standards throughout the production facility.

What will you be doing?

+ Recognise gaps in production processes and advise on standard operating procedures needed to rectify.
+ Writing out new Procedures relevant to the production area to the GMP standard.
+ Lead training meetings, creating the agenda, discussing key training topics.
+ Training of standard operating procedures to the Manufacturing team to a high standard.
+ Present training briefs to the production team to a high standard.
+ Creating and updating a new training matrix that clearly shows production compliance with training standards.
+ Ensuring the production team is up to date with all training records.
+ Feeding back gaps in operators’ knowledge of procedures and liaising with Production Team Leaders to rectify this.
+ Assist the production manager/Team Leader in ad-hoc tasks relating to manufacturing processes.
+ Assist the quality team in external audits when training standards are being audited.
+ Ensure training costs are in line with the annual and quarterly budgets.
+ Assist the Manufacturing manager in scoping external training courses that are beneficial to the manufacturing process.
+ Collaborates with Manufacturing managers and other members of the wider team, to ensure training is synchronised with strategic initiatives, and priorities.
+ Collate, trend and feedback data on training standards.

What are we looking for?

+ Previous administration experience working in a manufacturing or similar environment
+ Previous Sage experience beneficial
+ Ability to work confidently on Microsoft Office programmes as well as to quickly learn how to use multiple in-house systems and platforms
+ Analytical / data driven
+ Highly organised and ability to work to tight deadlines
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Enthusiasm, good humour and ambition
