Position: EHS Advisor
Location: Montrose
Pay Rate: GBP20 Per hour/PAYE
Start: ASAP
LOA: 6 months
This role is within the Process Safety team of the Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) department of Montrose factory. The Process Safety team help to reduce risk to the site and its staff by identifying hazards and ensuring robust measures are put in place to prevent the risk from being realised. The role sits within the Process Safety team and will contribute towards this ambition.
The Process Safety team recently undertook a project to review and assess a variety of process safety risks using a bow-tie model barrier strength assessment approach. The second phase of work - which this temporary position will be involved with - aims to close the gaps identified by the barrier strength assessments. This role will assist in this gap closure programme, as well as contributing to more general process safety tasks, for example - major accident hazard deep dives'.

- Help to deliver requirements of COMAH regulations
- Assist in the progression of a bowtie barrier strength project - developing understanding of gaps identified, and working on solutions to close them out.
- Work with other departments/functions across site - including Operations, Process Engineering, Automation, etc.
