HR Manager
Location: Telford - hybrid
Contract: 18 months - with the possibility of permanent thereafter
Salary/Benefits: GBP50,000 - GBP55,000
We are currently looking for an experienced Hr Manager to cover whilst the current incumbent goes on secondment. You will be joining a successful business, managing a small team, and looking at process improvements across the team.
The role will be hybrid with a minimum of 2 days per week onsite at Telford, therefore someone who can easily get to Telford regularly is preferred.
Responsibilities of the HR Manager:
* Supporting the delivery of the HR strategy and people plan across the business
* Developing effective business relationships with line manager & key stakeholders
* Managing the HR Admin & Resourcing team of up to 4 people
* Responsible for reviewing current processes and offering advice on process improvements / re-engineering
* Providing HR support and guidance across the organisation, managing stakeholders effectively through regular meetings and appropriate communications.
* Coaching & advising line managers; equipping them with appropriate tools and knowledge to create high performing teams.
* Managing HR data quality, evaluating and authorising changes to HR data to support the identification of potential implications within the business
* Update and maintain the HR Information System data and ensure that changes are communicated to the Payroll Manager.
* Maintenance and provision of robust management information, dashboards and KPIs to stakeholders across the business
* Conduct analysis of information to support HR activities and supporting on HR projects when required.
Skills required for the HR Manager:
* CIPD qualified - or equivalent experience
* Experience of managing small team
* Comprehensive experience in an HR support role
* Good level of employee relations knowledge
