.NET Software Developer (SQL)

We are seeking a .NET Software Developer for a market leading Software Solutions and Technology Specialist based in Milton Keynes.

Our client is a market leading organisation with an excellent suite of Legacy (and constantly upgrading) software products.

The company are looking for a .NET Developer with a grounding in Development of around 2 years and skills in application development and SQL skills to join their company.

Note: This role can be home based with occasional trips to the office or client sites or based in their offices if you prefer. Applicants must be based in the UK and VISA ready.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop .NET software applications
• Work to company testing principles and procedures.
• Design and follow unit test scripts
• Supporting customers with bug fixes, useability issues, enhancement, and maintenance.
• Taking ownership of coding issues.
• Resolving as required
• Produce documentation for the software you produce
• Working as part of a team, anticipating product release issues, taking corrective action or escalating as needed for resolution
• Ensuring agreed software design processes and quality practices are followed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Essential:

• Educated to degree level
• Net Webforms, C#.Net, VB.NET, HTML 5

Desirable:

• MS SQL Server 2014/2016, TSQL programming & database maintenance
• Javascript, JQuery
• IIS administration
• Classic ASP/VB desirable
• Strong problem-solving skills
