We are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor to join our well established and successful client based in Hatfield.
You will be the first point of contact for the HR Department, dealing with people enquiries within the scope of personal knowledge and knowing where to escalate in order to expedite.
Supporting the HR Business Partner, you will provide advice and support to line managers on all people aspects including Recruitment & Selection, Training and Development, Performance Management, Reward and Recognition and ER cases as needed.
This is an integral role, designed to embody a customer centric approach to all employee requests. You will play a key role in work processes and change management. This is a true generalist role with opportunity to develop and progress in the organisation!

Hours: 37.5 hrs a week - Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm

Key Responsibilities:
Support the HR team in delivering and monitoring employee engagement initiatives;
Provide support with recruitment and selection activity
Supporting and managing ER issues e.g. disciplinary meetings, sickness absence reviews etc;
Being the eyes and ears of the wider HR team flagging any issues, themes or trends to the CPSO
Administration across all aspects of the HR functionality including update and review of policies and procedures in line with legislation;
Conduct exit interviews and compile detailed analysis of data
Ensure the timely and accurate input and maintenance of employee information and data through the HRIS and business reporting systems;
Working on key initiatives with HR Business Partner, shadowing where appropriate;
Active management of PACOM & Stanley access card management;
Active management of RTW and VISA and immigration documents;
Project work
Review and continually improve core processes

At least 2 years+ in a similar HR role
Generalist HR experience within a HR environment
Proven ability to develop HR systems and procedures
Confident self-starter with a pro-active and 'can do attitude
Able to work to tight deadline
Thorough and conscientious
Accepts a challenge with the self-motivation and the ability to work on own initiative
Welcomes change and sees the positive
Strong communication skills, combined with a good sense of humour and strong work ethic
