**Job Summary**

Charles River are looking for 2 x Senior Scientists, DMPK to grow our DMPK / ADME function, based at our Cambridge site in the UK. Individuals should have a desire to develop. At Charles Riverwe value the contributions individuals bring to the team so whether your focus is in-depth technical skills or expert DMPK drug discovery project support, the varied nature of our work offers opportunities to develop these.

*You will need:*
• Demonstrated practical experience of ADME assays, including automation, applied in a drug discovery setting
• Demonstrated experience of pharmacokinetic parameter determination and an understanding of the underlying principles
• An aptitude for understanding the impact DMPK data on drug discovery project progression
• A knowledge of the principles of PK/PD and PB/PK based modelling and simulation
• A passion for science; an interest in designing and performing mechanistic, bespoke studies to answer specific project related questions
• A desire to continually improve existing assays and processes to meet new standards or advances in scientific knowledge; essential to help us deliver the best to our clients
• Comprehensive trouble-shooting and problem solving skills both technical and scientific
• Attention to detail; getting it right the first time and quality control are at the heart of what we do
• Strong organization and time management skills alongside an inbuilt flexibility to adapt to change
• Excellent communication skills and be an effective team player; these will be essential to successful execution of projects whilst working in a matrix and multi-skilled environment.
