Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Solihull
Basic salary: GBP42,000 - GBP50,000 per annum + Benefits
Type: Permanent
A large group in the manufacturing industry are recruiting a Management Accountant to join their team. The primary responsibility will be to oversee monthly group services management accounts, consolidation of the group management accounts, as well as the preparation of forecasts and budgets and cash flow projections. Experience in Group Accounts would be beneficial. The role would suit a management account or finance manager looking to take the next step.
Other key responsibilities will include:
Preparation of weekly activity reports
Preparation of statutory accounts for both trading and dormant companies
Assist with half year and year end process including statutory tax audit
Oversight of Office of National Statistics Returns
Assist with the management of various group contracts
Undertake post implementation capex reviews
Business Partner to HR Director
Requirements:
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW) or qualified by experience
Experience of Group Accounts would be beneficial
Experience in the maintenance of ledgers and cost centres (preferably Sage Line 50)
Preparation of consolidated monthly financial reporting, ideally Group
Preparation of VAT returns and statutory accounts
Experience in year-end audit and tax process
Advances Excel and data analysis/manipulation skills
