Brief Role Description:
We are supporting our client who are a successful manufacturer of Safety Critical Components, in their search for a Process Improvement Engineer to join their expanding team.
Responsibilities:
* Champion a culture of continuous improvement
* Develop key field service processes, balancing the value-adding changes with field feasibility
* Facilitate the deployment of new and revised processes providing measurable improved results
* Contribute to the risk management by designing processes to remove or mitigate potential risks
* Support internal and external audits
* Evaluate and develop standard procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with global standards
* Collaborate with all the teams within Customer Success to ensure world class service is delivered
About You:
* A technical degree or equivalent qualifications
* Demonstrated a hands-on approach to process improvement and enthusiasm to get involved with any issues as they arise
* Knowledge on how to implement feasible metrics to inform process progress and improvement
* A working knowledge of ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 14971:2019, or similar in a highly regulated industry
* An appreciation of the business considerations and priorities of an operational environment
* A dynamic and proactive outlook with strong problem-solving skills
* Excellent collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
* The ability to adapt to different audiences, while delivering effective and concise communication
* Excellent prioritisation skills
* A customer-focussed mindset
* Knowledge in quality problem solving tools such as 8D or Lean Six Sigma would be an advantage
* Familiarity with supporting audits
* Experience with facilitating PFMEAs
* Experience working with third-party organisations
* Experience working with people with different languages and cultures
