Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship

You will be working towards gaining a Level 3 Early Years qualification
Location: Luton
Salary: National Apprenticeship Wage
Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Duties:
* Help maintain a safe and friendly environment for children and staff.
* Encourage children's development in all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage assisting with and leading activities as directed.
* Setting up and packing away equipment on a daily basis.
* Communicate with parents and encourage their involvement with their child in the Pre-School.
* Provide information with regard to their child's development and progression within the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.
* Respond to children's emotional and physical needs appropriately.
* Endeavour to fulfil the Pre-schools Ethos and follow the pre-school policies and procedures.
* Attend training courses in appropriate subjects to extend personal knowledge and understanding of all early year's development and procedures.
* You will be allocated key worker children for whom you must maintain and update personal profiles.
* Observations and snap shots must be carried out on children that attend the pre-
* You must attend all planning meetings outside of normal working hours.
* You will complete short term planning.
* You may be expected to prepare any creative activities outside of working hours.
* You will be allocated key roles within the workplace and will be expected to fulfil these roles during practice.
* You may be expected to attend meetings arranged by the Managers, Supervisor or Committee outside of normal working hours.
* Follow and implement the Pre-School's safeguarding policies and procedures, contributing to concern, identification, recording and working in partnership with all staff including the designated person to keep children safe, undertake/be trained to the minimum Level 1 Safeguarding.
* Attend up to 5 training days per year
* Carry out any other reasonable duties as required.
