My Client is currently recruiting for a Data Strategy Analyst.
Job Purpose
Data and analytics are key to the success of the clients business. This newly created role will sit within the operation, reporting to our Portfolio Director. The role has been created to provide enhanced insight into the performance of the business and to lead the optimisation of all of their core processes which use and rely on data. This role will play an important part providing and leading innovation within the business using data to support proposed changes. You will use your technical knowledge to contribute to design, implementation and process development of the operations team for existing reports and models.
Role Responsibilities
Assess portfolio performance against targets and key performance indicators to assist with collection initiatives.
Support with the build and reporting of operational models e.g. communication and work-force forecasting, expected returns & liquidation on process performance (strategy, litigation, enforcement etc)
Support with A/B testing of operational strategies and performance to continuously enhance our offerings.
Support the enhancing of the database tables and dashboards to promote rapid, data-driven decisions
Working with third party suppliers to improve their performance
Building reconciliation process to ensure data integrity
Working with CRAs and others to enhance the contact data we hold for our 700k customers
Running pieces of ad-hoc analysis for internal and external colleagues and clients.Knowledge Skills & Experience (Not all Essential)
Analytical skills, able to interpret large datasets and identify trends
Experienced in the use of Business Intelligence, Analytical and Statistical packages (e.g. SQL, SAS, R-Studio, Python etc)
High level of attention to detail, prioritisation skills, and capable of working to deadlines
Experience in working in a Collections/ Finance department or with credit risk bureau data
Experience in using technologies for modelling such as Logistic Regression, Linear Regression, CHAID, Random Forests, Gradient Boosting, Cluster Analysis, Discriminant Analysis, Bayesian Algorithms, Neural Networks, SVM, MARS
