Overview
Pertemps Recruitment, on behalf of Buckinghamshire Council, has an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Administrator to join the Resources Blue Badge team in Amersham. Working alongside the Business Support Co-ordinator, you will play an important role in assisting in the provision of efficient clerical and administrative support, including supporting the office and team processes and systems. You will be dealing with applications for a Blue Badge.

About the role
As a Business Support Administrator, you will be responsible for:
Processing both new and renewal applications for members of the county applying for blue badges
Taking calls from the public regarding their applications
Calling residents to follow up on their applications
Writing up letters of correspondence
Providing administrative and clerical assistance
Maintaining and retrieving information as requested
Implementing quality and performance standards in own area of responsibilityThis is a temporary position until December. The pay rate is GBP10.49 per hour, and you will be working full time, 37 hours per week. Buckinghamshire Council are working on a hybrid basis where you will work remotely for 3-4 days per week and in the office 1-2 days per week.

The Amersham office is conveniently situated in the town centre (HP6 5AW area) with great transport links including a local train station and excellent road connections to the M25, M1, M4 and M40.

About you
The successful candidate(s) should have:
Worked in an office environment previously
Good ICT skills - familiar with all standard office packages
Good comminution skills
Attention to detail
Tact when approaching potentially difficult situations
Comfortable speaking on the phone
