We have the following temporary full time post:
Leisure Centre Partnerships Officer (Maternity Cover)
37 hours per week
Salary range GBP19,280 to GBP25,700 per annum (dependent upon experience)
39 days annual leave (including Bank Holiday and Company days) + 2 wellbeing days a year + weekly exercise and wellbeing hours
This is a national role based from home with time spent at Lilleshall National Sports Centre, nr Newport, Shropshire
Temporary for up to 9 months to cover for maternity leave
We are the UK's official governing body for gymnastics. We believe gymnastics has the power to amaze like no other sport and we strive to help every gymnast experience this, amazing themselves and others along the way. By working closely with our members and partners we aim to lead, support and inspire everyone in gymnastics to do amazing things.
Our Participation team help clubs, leisure centres and schools through facility improvements and support to run and develop sessions. The team are looking for a Leisure Centre Partnerships Officer to temporarily join them to cover for maternity absence.
As our Leisure Centre Partnerships Officer you will build and grow vital relationships with leisure centre partners, supporting the Leisure Centre Gymnastics Partnership Manager in line with the Participation Plan. You will develop and maintain partnerships with leisure centre partners to create national level action plans focusing on creating new opportunities, increasing participation and improving the quality of gymnastics delivery. You will also drive the implementation of these plans, British Gymnastics products and new initiatives, designed to increase the participation opportunities in Leisure Centres.
The Role
The main responsibilities of the role are:
Build strong, positive relationships with major leisure partners at national level, understanding their deliver needs
Input into the deliver aspects of partner plans at national level and ensure delivery is coordinated and aligned across centres.
Deliver support and guidance to leisure partners at local level overseeing action plans to grow participation
Working with the Leisure Centre Gymnastics Partnership Manager, develop and direct Leisure partners to create pathway into gymnastics through linking with the local community
Working with the Leisure Centre Gymnastics Partnership Manager, develop and direct Leisure partners to create pathways into other sports, using Gymnastics as a foundation sport to support retention into other activities.
Monitoring and managing day to day programme budget, reporting to the Leisure Centre Gymnastics Partnerships Manager on a quarterly basis
Working with the Gymnastics Participation Product Officers to produce tools to aid delivery of gymnastics activity across the Leisure sector
Make recommendations to partners on improvements and efficiencies that can be made to deliver as a result of the action plan Working with the leisure centre partners to set annual national targets and forward plan activities needed in order to achieve departmental objectives
Working with the leisure centre partners to agree annual national targets in line with their agreements, and forward plan activities needed in order to achieve departmental objectives

The Person
Applicants will need to demonstrate:
Strong Interpersonal skills for challenging opinions, influencing actions, advising and building solid professional working relationships
Competent IT skills for working with a range of software, systems and Microsoft office suites including PowerPoint, word and outlook
Excellent co-ordination and self-management skills to deliver products and programmes, building / tracking agreed budgets, processing financials, collating data, producing reports as required
Knowledge of all levels of gymnastics, gymnastics in leisure centres, the management and delivery structure of leisure centre partners including delivery across centres.
Understanding of Project and Product Management and delivery frameworks, driving the development and implementation of programmes and initiatives.
