IT Service Desk Technician
Location: Letchworth, Hertfordshire
Salary: GBP26,099
Hours: Full Time
Contract: 12 months FTC
Role Purpose
Our client are offering an excellent opportunity to develop your knowledge and build a career in IT, by joining their growing IT team in the role of IT Service Desk Technician. The ideal candidate will have a passion for IT, a thirst for knowledge and will demonstrate proactive learning, a can-do attitude and excellent customer service skills.

You will:
*
Work as part of the IT service desk team, providing onsite and remote support to end users
*
Provide technical support for hardware configurations, software applications, operating systems, network connections, and mobile devices
*
Set up and maintain network accounts
*
Address and resolve incidents and requests via ticketing system
*
Deliver a consistently excellent level of customer service and demonstrate a can-do attitude
You will also:
*
Work closely with IT colleagues
*
Log support requests on the service desk system
*
Ensure all IT processes are followed
*
Document procedures
*
Procure IT equipment
A basic must
*
Demonstrable experience in:
*
Knowledge of MS Windows environment and associated technologies
*
Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
*
Good organisation and time management skills
*
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge and experience of working with Active Directory
*
Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange
*
Experience managing Smartphones through MDM management tool
*
An IT related qualification
