We're hiring for a Business Intelligence Developer at Homelet to play a key role in delivering the strategic goals for the business and to assist the Head of Business Intelligence with our business intelligence strategy!
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a wide range of business datasets, creating and analysing key business performance indicators in a dynamic and constantly changing B2B & B2C environment.
Responsibilities:
* Develop new Business Intelligence across a variety of business functions through a process of requirements gathering, designing, building, testing and releasing for each new report and application.
* Develop new databases in Microsoft SQL and deliver reports using SSRS and/or Microsoft Power BI as required by the business.
* Develop data models using Microsoft Analysis Services (SSAS) for consumption within Microsoft Power BI, Excel or SSRS.
* Complete data mining identifying business trends within datasets using data models developed in SSAS.
* To ensure accuracy within all reporting by testing outputs using the business tools and resources available.
* To be able to articulate to a variety of different business stakeholders.
* Create technical documentation for BI tools.
* Regularly review live reporting and database applications in an order that outputs remain aligned to business and user needs.
* Provide advice, guidance and coaching to team members to enhance their technical capabilities and ensure value added service to customers.
* Manage and evolve the day to day relationships with internal and external partners.
Experience:
* Experience of a customer focused environment, delivering a high level of professional service to internal or external customers
* Experience of a regulated financial services environment.
* Experience developing SSRS based reports using Visual Studio.
* Minimum 3 years' experience writing reports using TSQL, MySQL or similar variant.
* Experience capturing business requirements and developing a technical solution to agreed requirements.
* Advanced MS Excel skills.
* Excel based data modelling.
* Experience using enterprise BI tools such as Tableau, Qlikview etc.
* Diploma or degree in a related subject (Desirable)
* Experience within the financial services sector, understanding the importance of regulation and the accuracy of datasets (Desirable)
* 5 years in a results driven Information environment including experience of Management Information; Marketing Database analysis and Project Management (Desirable)
* Use of Salesforce for reporting and dashboarding (Desirable)
* Practical experience using Power Automate with Power BI (Desirable)
* Experience delivering Entity Relationship Diagrams to plan and/or document data design builds (Desirable)
* Hands on experience of using and implementing Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services or Azure Analysis Services (Desirable)
