VB.NET Software Developer, Greenfield new development opportunity. Chance to learn new skills including HTML, Angular, CSS, Bootstrap. Slough, Berkshire, c GBP45000 - 55000 + benefits. Initially office based but then a 3/2 office/home split. Core hours 10-4. Based in Slough, Berkshire.

Market leading technology company based in Slough, Berkshire is looking for a VB.NET Software Engineer to join their team. Working on a new and exciting development project you will use your good Visual Basic skills and will gain the chance to learn additional skills including HTML, JavaScript. Angular, CSS and more. This is a greenfield development role, not a bug fixing or maintenance position

Duties and Responsibilities -

* Work in a small but growing team developing a new and exciting product.
* Work in a technically challenging and demanding environment.
* Create robust software that will be used by many household name clients.
* Proactively manage development risks and issues in cooperation with management team.

Skills Required -

* Good commercial experience of VB.NET
* Ability to work well under pressure and autonomously.
* Excellent diagnostic and analytical skills.
* High standard of programming in .net development technologies, using VB.NET.
* A solid understanding of HTML, JavaScript and CSS (or willingness to learn).
* Understanding of browser capabilities
* Full appreciation of configuration management & issue tracking management issues and systems
* Excellent interpersonal and team working skills.
* Determination to find and deliver the right solution and deliver.
