SAP MDG MDM Functional Lead Consultant/Manager
My client is looking for an experienced SAP MDG/MDM Implementation Functional Lead.
Assignment description
We are looking for a consultant who can lead SAP MDG Implementation activities for one of our large clients in Denmark, although work can be worked 50% Remote from home with visits to office in Maidenhead UK required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead SAP MDG implementation activities in a functional hands-on role for the NFTP 3.0 release
- Hands on managing team of SAP engineers
- Actively collaborate with other product owners and engineering leads to understand their needs and coordinate integration of MDG with their products
- Manage the backlog as per product owner prioritization based on business needs, creation of backlog items and mapping out dependencies in collaboration with users and customers
- Work closely with development teams in Agile way of working; contribute to the planning, execution and review of each sprint and work with the team to refine and improve the development process
- Ensure governance is followed in change deployment
Who we are looking for:
- Experience working as SAP MDG/MDM Senior engineer or project delivery manager for 10+ years, with overall experience of 15+ years with large scale technology transformation initiatives
- Hands-on implementation experience of SAP MDG/MDM incl. deep knowledge in SAP MDG architectures and business processes
- Experience in working with senior business product owners/global process owners on MDG workflow design to create and extend objects such as business partner, contract account and material
- Expert experience of S/4HANA is a must, with in-depth knowledge of Business Partner and Material Master Data Models
- Experience of integration technologies and methods for integrating MDG with SAP and non-SAP applications, such as SAP-PO/CPI, Kafka Event Streaming and REST API
- Proven experience with managing complex stakeholders and ability to influence without authority
- Experience in working with Agile, Scrum and waterfall delivery models
- Good problem solving & communication skills
