Management Accountant

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are excited to be working with a fantastic business in the Gloucester area. They are looking for a Management Accountant to get stuck into their finance function.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

* Managing the production of monthly accounts (invoicing & purchases)
* Weekly/daily Bank Reconciliation
* Payment Runs
* Budgeting and cash flow forecasts
* Month end procedure to include Deferred Income spread sheet and journals
* Reports - P&L, inhouse CRM
* Fixed asset register
* Purchase ledger
* Credit control / sales ledger
* Vat Returns
* Preparation of year end accounts
* Ensure expenses claims are received
* Manage petty cash
* Budget variance analysis
* Cash flow analysis
* Commission payment analysis
* Other project work and support to manager

Person specification:

* Proven experience working within a fast paced, varied accounting role
* Educated to GCSE level, including Maths & English
* Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to prioritise workload in order to meet strict deadlines
