Responsibilities as the Assistant Restaurant and Bar Manager

As the new Assistant Manager, you will primarily oversee the running of shifts and motivate your team to produce high standards of service across the bar, floor and kitchen areas. You'll take responsibility for running a section of the restaurant and assisting the Manager with staff rotas, as well as training new staff.

In joining our reputable client, you'll demonstrate high levels of customer service skills as well as having the ability to liaise confidently with suppliers. To ensure smooth service at all times, you'll work closely with the kitchen team and cash up at the end of shifts. You'll ensure a warm welcome for all visitors and use the internal booking system to communicate with customers regarding upcoming bookings.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

As an individual, you'll have a positive and enthusiastic attitude, as well as excellent communication skills in order to liaise with all departments and customers.

Due to the location of our client, it would suit an individual with access to their own transport.
