Are you an experienced gas engineer? Do you have experience covering commercial and industrial gas works? Are you looking for a rewarding company without micromanagement and lots of travel? Then we have a fantastic opportunity for you! We are currently recruiting for a specialist company who cover industrial and commercial contracts who are looking to add to their team by appointing a new engineer in the North West region.
What will your day to day activities as a Gas Engineer include?
The role, covering the North West region (Chester, Liverpool & Warrington), will expect you to be responsible for the preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance of a variety of gas works (central heating boilers, gas water heaters, warm air heaters, gas heating systems and more). You will be placed on an on call system (only for gas works) where you will be paid standby for. This role will be covering contracts for blue chip distribution centres as well as hotels.
What will you need to be considered for this opportunity?
* Fully gas qualified (COCN1 or change over (commercial core), CDGA1 (direct appliances), CIGA1 (indirect appliances), CENWAT (boilers), TPCP1A (testing and purging) and COCDN1 (domestic core)
* Ideally 5 years + experience in an Gas Engineer position.
* Experience working on commercial and industrial heating systems.
* Full driving licence.
* Strong communication skills/customer service skills.
* A hardworking mentality
* An honest and reliable personality
* Willing to take part in on call rota (every 5 weeks)
