Topographical and Measured Building Surveyor

The Client
Our client has an excellent reputation throughout the industry for their professional friendly service. They cover a comprehensive range of survey disciplines including topographical, measured building, boundary and volumetric analysis using various surveying equipment to enable them to provide and deliver various reports to meet their clients' requirements.
Our client is looking for an experienced Topographical and Measured Building Surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate must have experience working on large complex land surveying projects. The working hours are Monday to Friday based on a 42.5-hour week.
The role
* Undertake investigative, topographical, measured buildings, and land surveys and complete paperwork in accordance with company procedures
* Travel across the UK and be willing to work one or two nights away per month.
* Troubleshooting and resolving issues onsite, such as equipment, access, safety concerns etc.
* Processing data at the office in Northampton
* Liaising with other site surveyors, contractors, suppliers, clients
* Carry out appropriate quality control checks and following Health & Safety procedures
* Provide technical support to Project Managers and internal staff members
Experience
* At least 2-5 years topographical/ measured building surveying experience.
* Working knowledge of surveying equipment including Total Stations and GPS systems, as well as N4ce and AutoCAD software
* Experience of processing and survey report writing
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Experience working across a wide variety of environments and on complex surveys
* Ability and willingness to work flexibly
* A full UK driving licence
* A qualification in Surveying or a relevant qualification that incorporates Surveying
