Rework Technician
Reporting to: Production Supervisor / Production Manager
Shifts: Monday - Thursday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Friday 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Are you a PCB Technician looking for a step up in your career?
We are looking for a Rework Technician to modify, repair and upgrade PCB assemblies up to industry standard.
What will you be doing?
* Removal and replacement of a wide variety of SMT components down to 0201 and 01005 dimensions.
* Removal and replacement of a wide variety of SMT and thru-hole IC packages and connectors including DIL, uBGA, BGAs PGAs, QFPs
* Build products according to customer specifications and requirements
* Ensure all work is completed to specified levels of acceptable workmanship.
* Always follow company procedures and work instructions.
* Assist in the training of team members ensuring best practice standards are maintained
What will you bring to the party?
* At least 3 years' experience in PCB production
* Educated to GCSE or equivalent
* City & Guilds in Electronics would be an advantage
* Use of fine tools and microscopes
* Hand soldering - IPC 610 Class 3 trained
* Computer literate
