General Manager / Operations Manager
Due to an existing success and long term partnerships in a high-growth sector, we're exclusively recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager / General Manager with a background in Retail, Hospitality, Events or Building Management.

This opportunity offers a high level of autonomy working together with, and reporting to, the Operations Director. You'll also work with internal teams and strengthen existing external relationships through fantastic service and SLA management.

The ideal General Manager / Operations Manager will demonstrate the ability to:
*Help develop operations strategy focused on both financial gain, operational efficiencies and improved customer satisfaction that supports business growth targets and the business plan.
*Develop an ongoing strategy and annual business plan in conjunction with the CEO, Operations Director and National General Manager
*Events management - organise and manage exciting and engaging social events
*Support the Sales and Marketing Teams during events and other initiatives
*Maintain Health and Safety compliance, audits and reports
*Manage SLA delivery to ensure these are met and exceeded
*Building Maintenance and Facilities Management liaising with the facilities team
*Positively contribute to the development, review, and management of companywide policies and procedures
*Establishing and maintaining local networking communities
*Coach, lead and focus your team to deliver a first class experience and service
*Produce accurate, quality, timely board reports. Attend all board meetings and
*present on performance and actions
*Manage financial budget and overall expenses
What we look for in the ideal General Manager:
*Minimum 3 years' management experience in a Retail, Hospitality, Leisure or Events background
*A passional can-do attitude
*A strong and natural from-the-front leader
*A leader who is analytical, accountable and can work at a fast pace
*Passionate in delivering five star service and experience
*Excellent planning and organisational skills
*Be a self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic individual
The hours for the role are fantastic:
Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00
Core Hours are 10:00-16:00 which need to be covered, but you can be flexible around this
You may work the occasional Saturday to attend and run events, but you'll be glad to know you can take your day back in lieu.
You get all your Sundays and all Bank Holidays to yourself. Yes, you heard that right, they're all yours!
