Can you solve technical production problems?
Are you experienced in production processes and using data to look at performance and provide solutions?
A leading manufacturer and producer of Industrial Materials are seeking a Production Process Manager for their high performing plant in Peterborough.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will provide management control over an area of the operation and manage a team.
You will monitor performance from an environmental and production standpoint and maximise efficiency by monitoring the integrity of the sites furnaces and setting repair programmes to maintain optimum performance.
You will influence safety improvements and ensure "best in class" for all production and processes.
You will drive continuous improvement programs and be involved in site projects.
You will provide insights, reports and data to show how performance can be improved as well as championing site sustainability.
What you will need
* Strong experience in production and people management
* A proven background in driving processes and improving performance
* Knowledge of production efficiencies and interpreting data
* Previous experience of working within a heavy manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of operational/site energy and sustainability would be beneficial
* Lean manufacturing knowledge
* Problem solving and analytical thinker
* Technical and engineering understanding
* Ability to communicate at all levels
