We are looking for Teaching Assistants to join the team at one of our Schools starting either immediately or in May 2022.

This would be an ideal opportunity for anyone looking for an entry-level Graduate role, or for anyone with an interest in a career in teaching looking to gain ground level experience within a school.The role of Teaching Assistant (TA) is very varied and we try to accommodate the particular skills of each person. A good proportion of the work is supporting teachers in the classroom and working on a one-to-one basis with young children to encourage understanding and enjoyment of learning.

In addition, ad hoc tasks like bus duty, library duty, playground supervision, supporting the administrative staff, the supervision of pupils in after school study, and admin-based tasks such as Duke of Edinburgh's Award or House administration are shared out fairly between all the TAs.Flexibility is an important part of the job.
