Job brief
We are looking for a Kitchen Operative Worker to participate in our back of house. Kitchen Operative responsibilities include storing materials, receiving and distributing deliveries around the venue, help with some porter roles The goal is to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities of the kitchen operative.
* Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
* Receive and process kitchen/cafe stock products
* Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
* Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
* Complete diary logs into inventory
* Report any discrepancies
* Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
* Operate and maintain preventively warehouse equipment
* Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Requirements and skills of the kitchen operative.
* Proven working experience as a Warehouse/large kitchen
* Some inventory software, databases and systems but not necessary as training will be given
* Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Ability to lift items ensuring you follow moving and handling procedures
