Hotel Sales Manager
Location: Milton keynes
Salary:GBP30000 plus performance and target-based bonus
Our client is recruiting for an experienced Sales Manager for a well established hotel in Milton Keynes.
Hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm and occasional weekends (exhibitions and events)
You would take the lead in maximising revenue development via a structured sales approach, as well as secure new Corporate, Agency and Group business, and manage our existing Corporate, Agency and Group accounts.
Your responsibilities will include:
Analysis local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business leads
Drive and co-ordinate all sales activities to maximise revenue from existing accounts
Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate clients
Investigate new areas of business in terms of market development into new territories and market segments by working with the Revenue Manager, Events Coordinators and Head of Communications
Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions
Attend Sales events, as required
Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads
