Reception / Rooms Manager (Maternity cover) required for our client, a hotel recently re-opened following a refurbishment, located in the Rye area. An exciting opportunity to be part of this new team. A couple or friends can be considered as there are some food and beverage service roles available also.

As Reception / Rooms Manager candidates require experience as a hotel Reception Manager or as an Assistant Front Office Manager to include that of managing bedroom reservations / revenue and the use of Opera.

You will be managing a team within the reception department and the role is responsible for the reception team on nights and day time shifts. The role of Reception / Rooms Manager will include shift work and week-ends on a regular basis, duty management and managing the bedroom reservations and websites to maximise bedroom revenue. This is a hands on role which will also require you to be front of house meeting and greeting guests and also revenue management.

The salary for Reception / Rooms Manager (Maternity cover) is given as negotiable / an hourly rate / inclusive of a share of tronc / along with other company benefits and rewards for your work. There may be the possibility of live in accommodation according to availability.TRANSPORT would be desirable to give more flexibility for the required shift work demands of this hands-on role if you live out in the local area.
