We are looking to appoint a highly skilled, organised and motivated individual to an exciting new position within two established and already very successful pastoral teams across Wellsway School and IKB Academy.
Applications are welcomed from those with experience in working in an educational setting and with a proven track record of success in terms of making an impact on school culture and improving student behaviour in both schools.
You will need to be committed to our vision of becoming an outstanding school and have a passion for pastoral care; driving forward the school culture and working alongside colleagues to ensure all students meet our high standards for behaviour.
Duties will include ensuring behaviour systems and processes are implemented consistently and effectively, to work closely with Pastoral staff to produce and review behaviour plans, act as Line Manager for the Withdrawal Room Supervisor and ensure that day to day processes are followed, to prioritise and action serious incident referrals and to manage the detention systems for both schools.
This new role provides an exciting opportunity to help shape the provision for behaviour and attitudes in both Wellsway School and IKB Academy whilst benefitting from working with practitioners across the Futura Learning Partnership to share best practice and resources.
If you are able to form positive relationships with students, staff and parents/carers and are confident to play a key role within the development of pastoral provision, we would love to hear from you.
In return we offer:
- A competitive salary
- A full and varied CPD programme offering teaching and leadership development for our staff
- An opportunity to work in a supportive team from whom you can learn, develop and grow
- Wider opportunities to be involved across the Futura Learning Partnership
- An energised and professional working environment
- Benefits include; pension scheme, discounted sports centre/gym membership, free wellbeing support & medical cover, free on-site parking and cycle to work scheme.

Interviews are likely to be held soon thereafter.
No CVs or agencies please.
