We're looking for an exceptional Solutions Architect to help us make a difference to our planet.
Our Solutions Architect will work a hybrid pattern of homeworking and once per fortnight in Exeter HQ as per team requirements.

As our Solutions Architect your total reward package is potentially worth up to GBP71,165 annually, which includes basic salary, market forces supplement, potential corporate bonus and employer pension contributions.
Your starting salary will be GBP45,150 with opportunities to progress to GBP49,890 over time. New joiners to the Met Office will start on the salary band minima.
In addition you will be paid GBP9,000 per annum as a market supplement to reflect the demand for your skills. You will be paid this market driven allowance from April 2022 until March 2024 in your monthly pay whilst performing this role.

Essential Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

2. Understanding the whole context -You can look beyond the immediate technical problem and identify the wider implications. You can 'zoom out' in 3 dimensions: knowing relevant historical context and future impact; understanding how current work fits in broader strategies; and looking for deeper underlying problems and opportunities.
