Here at Border to Coast, we are looking for a Business Support Officer to provide support in relation to our contract and procurement processes. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the Border to Coast electronic procurement portal, ensuring company contract and procurement rules are delivered via the portal. You’ll support Business Sponsors on agreed contract management process and delivery and support contract owners to schedule both contract renewals and new procurement, ensuring timely and consistent procurement practices are followed throughout the business. You’ll also be involved in contract administration including updates to Contract Finder, the Contract Register and accurate uploads to a Contract Management portal.
We’re looking for an individual who has experience of working within a business support role. With excellent communication and organisation skills, you’ll have good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Excel and PowerPoint and be comfortable working autonomously. A strong creative problem solver, you’ll ideally have experience of contract management and procurement processes and of electronic document management systems.
