Staffline are recruiting on behalf of one of the most recognised names in the metalwork industry, based in Sittingbourne, undertaking the full galvanising process. As well as their expert galvanising skills, the company is recognised as being the finest powder coating business in the country.
We are looking for a fast paced individual, who is willing to learn something new, but has some warehouse environment experience. Just a 10 minute walk from Sittingbourne train station, the site has excellent public transport links and is a genuine temp to perm opportunity with permanent contracts offered after 12 weeks of working through Staffline.
Your Time at Work
As a warehouse operative you will be working in the manufacturing team undertaking the following duties:
- Grinding/re-finishing incoming metal
- Acid dipping
- Quality checking
- Preparing finished metal products for deliveries
- Other duties as directed by your team leader
Our Perfect Worker
Our ideal worker needs to be physically able to lift metal products using lifting aids. Have a good attention to detail for the purposes of quality checking the product. Be reliable and flexible.
Full training is provided, so no experience in galvanising is required, however some warehouse/yard environment experience is advantageous.
Key Information and Benefits
- Earn GBP10.31- GBP11.63 Per hour
- Shifts are 6am-2pm/ 2pm-10pm rotating basis
- Temp to perm
- Bonus after 12 week completion period
