Overview of a Data Analyst
Pertemps have an exciting opportunity within Harrow Council for a self-driven and motivated Data Analyst to join an expanding team. The role of a Data Analyst has a competitive pay rate of GBP 14.49 per hour to GBP18.36per hour increasing in line with Harrow Council Pay Scale increments. Other benefits include accruing up to 28 days of holiday per year (including Bank Holidays) and the opportunity to apply for any internal permanent roles within Harrow Council.
The Main Purpose of a Data Analyst:
To ensure that all Data is coordinated and relayed to the second point of contact
To indefinity refugees safeguarding checks upon arrival in the country
To identify the different sponsors refugees have
To analyse and highlight what requirements refugees have and record this information accordingly
To update and filter requirements
To contribute to the resolution of more complex and high level research/data management issues so that they are dealt with effectively
To provide high level expertise in data quality, data handling, data management, analysis, interpretation and presentation, including statistical techniques
About you, the successful will have:
Must have extensive Data Analysis experience
Knowledge of how data is stored in large computer systems and how reporting tools are used to extract data from them
Experience in research involving data handling, analysis and interpretation
Experience in working with large databases in a data management/handling role (not just as a database user)
Excellent advanced ICT skills; advanced user of Excel
High-level communications skills both in writing and orally
Educated to degree level or equivalent or has the equivalent relevant work experience.
