GENERAL MANAGER - RELAUNCHED VENUE - PART OF AN INDEPENDENT SMALL GROUP - BASED NEAR BEACONSFIELD - UP TO GBP45,000 + ACCOMMODATION
Leisure Solutions are a specialist hospitality recruiter working with this independent pub company, looking to recruit a General Manager for their re-launched site near Beaconsfield.
The Company / Site
This group comprises a mixture of premium food pubs and boutique pubs with bedrooms, with a handful of venues across the South of the country. This venue is remotely based and given a lot of autonomy.
It is currently relaunching the restaurant side of the business, with a new chef and brand new menu launching in the near future.
The Role
The General Manager role is integral to the success of the business and we are looking to recruit a General Manager who can take ownership and provide their own leadership to the venue. You will:
* Manage the day-to-day operation of this venue.
* Work closely with the Head Chef to develop and build the food side of the business
* Provide strategic growth and direction of the business, managing the budgets and reporting on P&L figures
* Recruit, train and develop your team members, ensuring that they are treated properly and respectfully and fully conversant on the company's policies & procedures
* Market the business in line with expectations, developing your relationship in the local area and attracting new people from the venue
In return for your service
Ideally having gained managerial experience within a similar pub or restaurant environment, you will demonstrate your leadership and development skills. You will:
* Have experience in managing a team within a premium establishment
* Have excellent communication skills
* Ideally come from a food focussed environment
* Have gained some experience of rooms management
* Can market and develop the business
In return the company is offering a permanent position with a competitive salary up to GBP45,000, along with a bonus scheme and on-site accommodation is available.
