Nelson Recruitment Services are urgently seeking an Press Brake Operator for our client based in the Kingsbury,Tamworth area to start immediately. Ongoing long term position turning into a permanent contract!
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading manufacturing and engineering business who are expanding very quickly, where they are looking for the best possible performers with a real can do attitude and also want to progress to gain a very good career.
Hours available: FIXED AM SHIFT
Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 16:00 and Friday early finish (12pm)
Pay rate: GBP11.00 - GBP13.00 dependent on experience
Duties will include:
• Fabrication of mild parts for a large manufacturer.
.Produce parts and tools from metal, plastic or other materials
.Using Press Brake to precision bends, punches, or cuts into material.
.Perform daily machine start up and shutdown procedures
.General Manufacturing duties
The Ideal candidate must have:
.A minimum of 1 years' experience in Press Brake - Amada
.Worked in an environment setting and operating machinery for light gauge material
.Ability of working on own initiative
.Able to read technical drawings, select tooling and run small to medium batches with high variety
