PETA are proud to be working with their client to support them with the recruitment of an IT Helpdesk Technician Apprentice.

This role is a fantastic first step towards working in IT support with local schools. You will be part of a team where you will learn everything about IT support, schools broadband and much more!

Training to be provided

Full training towards L3 Information Communication Technician: Support Technician will be provided. You will complete a 22-month apprenticeship.

About the role

As an IT Helpdesk Technician Apprentice, you will be:

Supporting all IT related issues from a remote support helpdesk
Supporting work with external network support providers
Remotely supporting the network administrators and IT coordinators with maintenance and installation tasksBenefits

As our IT Helpdesk Technician Apprentice, you will have a keen interest in IT and be eager to learn new skills. You will also be required to possess the following skills and qualifications:

Good numerical and literacy skills and good levels of computer literacy
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
Good analytical/problem solving skills
Great customer service focus
Good communication and interpersonal skills
GCSE Maths and English with grades A*-C/4-9 or level 2 equivalentDesirable Skills

Holding a driving licence would be desirable but not essential during the apprenticeship.
