Domestic Cleaner
Domestic Assistant - Hathersage S32 - GBP10.00 per hour - 29 hours a week - Permanent
29 hours per week, 5 days a week working 8.00am - 15.45pm, including alternative weekends. Rota as follows -
Week One - Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri
Week Two - Sun, Mon, Thur, Fri
Please note, as per the Companies Covid policy, it is essential that you have had at least 2 Covid vaccinations.
Working for a national charity, you will be working in a care home based in the Hathersage (Derbyshire, but near Sheffield) area. You will provide a comfortable, safe and hygienic environment for residents and staff.
Experience is desirable but your respect for older people and willingness to undertake training is more important.
Person specification
•One Year minimum experience of working as a domestic cleaner is desirable
•A willingness to undertake training and develop new skills
•To maintain cleanliness and general tidiness of residents rooms, bathrooms, offices and communal areas including carpet cleaning as designated by line manager.
•When required to enter residents' private rooms for the performance of domestic duties, to respect the opinion, privacy and dignity of the residents.
•Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used and maintained correctly and that it is stored in a safe and clean condition.
