Do you have warehouse, production or stores experience and looking for an exciting new position working within a fast-paced distribution warehouse within the aviation industry based in Fordingbridge?
Duties will include:
* Signing for and the unpacking/inspection of incoming orders/parts to ensure correct part numbers & quantities have been received.
* Inspection of incoming certificates & trace paperwork i.A.W with PO requirements.
* Booking orders/parts on to the company system, labelling and locating into stock.
* Adopting a "Right first time" approach to ensure accuracy through all warehouse processes
* Prioritising the receipt of orders to meet customer demand
* Identification of aircraft parts through visual inspection
* Raising of Quarantine forms for non-conforming product/parts
* Receipt of returned orders/parts (RMA's) to ensure all are actioned in a timely manner
* Undertake cycle counts and stock takes as required.
* Maintain the safe handling, storage, and identification of goods in accordance with relevant procedures.
* Any other Stores duties as requested by the Supervisor/line Manager
The ideal Stores Operative will hold the following skills and experience:
* Preferred previous experience in a similar role
* Excellent time keeping
* Flexible to suit the business needs
* Ability to multi task.
* Physically fit
* Excellent housekeeping
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Numerate and literate.
* Excellent team player.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines when under pressure.
* Excellent I.T skills
Forklift License is an advantage but not essential
