Our client, a well-established Shipping Company, is currently looking to recruit an experienced Art Technician / Handler to join their fast growing team in Berkshire, to provide warehousing, storage, art handling, art packing, collection, delivery, and installation services.
As the Art Technician / Handler, you will be ensuring the safety and protection or artworks at all times. You will also be placing into and picking artworks from storage, keeping storage records up to date and collecting and delivering artworks from / to clients.
Art Technician / Handler Duties:
Warehouse handling
Completing condition reports
Providing installation and de-installation services at client premises and art fairs / exhibitions
Preparing and measuring artworks for packing
Packing and crating artworks in the warehouse and at client premises
Art Technician / Handler Experience:
Experience in field of art shipping and logistics.
Knowledge of packing materials and packing methods
Install and de-install skills
IT skills - MS Office
In Return you'll receive a salary depending on experience.
